"Everything is intentional… In my mind I always had a way I wanted my art to be showcased and whether it was as a lack of access, funds, or anything else I settled for the generic artist image. Spending years upon years making songs and crafting projects just to post a 15 second clip and move on to something else. Caring about if someone may think I’m posting a song too much, but why spend all that time and money and invest into to something that I stop caring about as soon as I share it. From this point on everything will be perfected in my eyes; crafted to match the thoughts that run throughout my mind every second. Every album, ep, single, cover art, post, and word is intentional."

Born and raised in The Bahamas, LJJR has always had music in his blood. He started playing the piano at just three years old, drawn to melodies long before he knew how to put them into words. That early connection to sound grew into a lifelong passion; a way to express feelings he couldn’t always say out loud.

 

Over the years, LJJR developed a sound that’s just as honest as it is versatile; blending soulful vocals, introspective rap, and atmospheric production. His music reflects the highs and lows of life, love, and self-discovery, often pulling from real experiences and raw emotion.

 

Whether he’s writing about heartbreak, healing, or holding on to hope, LJJR’s songs are personal and relatable, offering a space for people to feel seen. For him, music isn’t just something he does; it’s who he is.
